Francine is a six-seat living room restaurant born in our dining room, shaped by two lives that travelled far from home to find each other in a tiny Norwegian village.

We are Irina and Glenn with roots spread across Belgium, Moldova, and Spain, and a shared chapter written in the deep quiet of Norway.

Glenn trained as an engineer before following the path that truly mattered to him — cooking — a passion passed down from his grandmother Francine, whose name we carry with pride.

Irina grew up between cultures and languages and spent her life in hospitality, bringing warmth, intuition, and genuine care to every table she serves.

What unites us is a devotion to family, nature, and the stories food can tell. We believe in the inner peace of a forest walk, in the sweetness of a berry picked at the right moment, and in the idea that ingredients gathered with intention carry emotions within them.
